Well I thought it was best that I write this page for Sue and David. My name is Jacqueline (David and Sue's Daughter). I grew up around a Cairn all my life and now I have two small children of my own so I know how a Cairn reacts.
Cairns seem to have a love for children. They are very tough, and forgive or overlook lots of mishaps and stepped-on feet. They should not, however, be teased or mistreated by children or adults, and close supervision of small children and puppies is essential. Puppies need time away from even the best-behaved children and should be provided with a place where they can rest undisturbed undisturbed until they are ready to play again. A "kennel" or crate is highly recommended.
Here are some Pictures of Brecken and Hotsy's with some of the Grandkids.
